Orthodontics is a dental specialty dedicated to diagnosing, preventing and treating malocclusion (improper alignment of biting or chewing surfaces of upper and lower teeth) through braces, corrective procedures and other appliances to straighten teeth and correct jaw alignment. Orthodontic treatment can improve your smile and oral health.

Orthodontal treatment can solve problems that include crooked or crowded teeth, cross bites, overbites or underbites. The treatment typically involves the use of active orthodontic appliances (such as braces) and post-treatment retentive appliances (such as retainers).

Preventive orthodontics

If a child between the age of 6 and 10 has crooked teeth, this can lead to complications later in the correct positioning of the permanent teeth. A simple, small plate can correct these defects.
It is also important at this age to ensure that the child swallow correctly and the tongue is in the correct position.

Multiband orthodontics

This system uses gentle force to act simultaneously on all teeth, allowing a progressive, yet rapid re positioning of the teeth.

Clear aligners system

A series of clear aligners gradually correct the malposition of the teeth. They have to be worn around the clock and can only be used for minor corrections.

We would also be happy to continue with orthodontal treatments which have already been started prior to your arrival in Luxembourg.
